Alternatively, learn to cook bread in the nomadic style or a traditional dish, get an introduction to the Fulani language or African games, or of course go hiking, on foot, by 4x4, or on a camel trek.
Reforestation project - nursery
As part of our commitment to sustainable tourism and to combat desertification in the Sahel, we support a tree nursery and a vegetable garden, financing the seeds and all the necessary equipment (construction of the well, watering cans, seeds and seedlings...).
The maintenance, reforestation campaigns and harvests of the vegetable section of the garden are entirely managed by the inhabitants of Lompoul.
Come and take part in this wonderful adventure by participating in a workshop: Preparing seedlings, transplanting, watering, planting...
Donations from participants can further support this local initiative.
Camel ride
Guided camel ride in the heart of the Lompoul savane.
PRICES per person:
- 20-minute initiation: 3,000 fcfa

• African games Awalé, Yoté, Wali... for relaxation.
• Making traditional bread… tasting is a must!

Private introductory course to the basic techniques of Senegalese sabar percussion or dance.

Walking tours in the savannah
A 2-3 hour walk through the savannah, passing through gardens and small villages to meet the locals. Accompanied by a local guide, you will discover the way of life of the Fulani people, herders and gardeners.
T RATES : Flat rate guide/accompanist per group for half a day: 15,000 CFA francs
Picnic on the beach
Travel by 4x4 from the desert to the vast, unspoiled beach of the Grande Côte. In the shade of the filao trees (a tropical pine-like tree), the team will prepare a barbecue lunch of crab, shrimp, or grilled fish, rice with yassa sauce, fruit, and drinks (one beer or soda, mineral water, and Senegalese tea). Return to the Desert Camp by 4 pm.

4x4 departure at 12pm / return around 4pm.
