We had a fantastic week-long road trip through Senegal, exploring the authentic continent, visiting Dakar and spending a night on the charming island of Gorée. The itinerary was packed and varied, ranging from a barbecue lunch on a secluded beach in the middle of the mangroves to sleeping in a tented camp in the desert, cooking with locals, sailing on traditional boats, dancing to the rhythms of the tam-tam drum, visiting a school, and even learning a few words of Wolof, the local language.
The accommodations were well-suited to the chosen itinerary: basic but equipped with the necessary amenities (always a shower with hot water, European-style toilet, air conditioning, and beds with mosquito nets). Often, there was also a lovely little pool, perfect for relaxing. Fresh and delicious local dishes were always provided.
The real highlight was our guide, Thiendou! He managed our trip perfectly, leaving us with no worries. He was extremely attentive and considerate, and shared various insights fluently in both French and English.
In short, an ideal way to discover the real Senegal!

This cottage is a haven of peace and serenity.
The whole team is fantastic. Always available and smiling.
The rooms are very clean and perfectly maintained. The infinity pool overlooking Lac Rose is a real bonus.

This agency truly lives up to its name! Beyond the perfect accommodations close to nature, the ongoing communication with Rama from the local agency allowed us to create a trip that perfectly reflected our preferences. Once we arrived, she regularly checked in on us 😀
Drivers (Dave and Manou are great, special mention for Manou) and guides were always punctual and did not hesitate to answer all our questions and requests.
Our interactions with them and the local people were wonderful (hello to Maguet 😉) And what can I say about the scenery!!!
In short, pure bliss!

There were four of us on our trip in April 2025 on the authentic tour. We shared the trip with two other people. Being six on a tour makes it much more pleasant to interact with the guide.
Our trip was a success, thanks mainly to two people:
- Our driver Amady. Calm, punctual, and considerate. Everything is easy with him behind the wheel 😊
- our first guide, Papy. Open-minded, funny, kind and very attentive to group cohesion, our first days with him were a real pleasure.
With them in charge, everything is anticipated and managed...as a result, there are no problems, just wonderful experiences.
